Dad - MOJO #139 and TSTR #10

TGIF!:) I had a fun-filled day babysitting my 4 year old nephew! It's days like these that I know why woman have babies when they're younger! I'm pooped! :)

This card was created based off of the sketch at MOJO and the inspirational photo at TSTR. I decided to stir a little bit off course and go with a different shade of blue....more on the turqoisey side and build off of that. Papers used are from October Afternoon, rubberstamped image, sentiment, button, twine and Kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink. My favorite part of this card is the little mini flag at the top that I handstamped "dad".

Well, off to post my card. Have a great evening! Cathy xx :)

  1. A-dorable, Cathy!!! A switch from your 'usual' vintage style, but nonetheless, lovely!!! Thanks for being a regular with us each week in the Tea Room :)

  2. I'm so much intrigued by your design and the skewed panel. Love it!

  3. How cute! Love the Dad at the top of the sail boat. :)

  4. This is a fabulous Father's day card- love the mix of papers and the boating theme!

  5. This is so adorable! I love your colors with the slight twist on the blue and your design is wonderful, too. Super cute little sailboat. Thanks for playing along with us at The Shabby Tea Room.

  6. Very cute! Love that sailboat and those polka dots! Thanks for playing along with us at TSTR! :)

Thank you for taking a peek and dropping me a line! Your comments are so greatly appreciated and always make my day. Have a wonderful day and keep creating! :)
