TGIF.........have a deadline to meet! 5 minutes and counting! I already missed the deadline for Waltzing Mouse who's sketch I used for this card - darn! :)
This card was created off of this weeks gorgeous colors at CR84FN.
DP's from Melissa Frances and Imagination Project, paper flower from a vintage pattern, button from a dear friend who's aunt passed away and I inherited her vintage button collection, shabby seam binding ribbon, appliqued leaf, decorative pins and crocheted trim, handstamped sentiment and cardstock from PTI.
Thanks for taking a peek..........mad dash to post my card! Have a great evening - Cathy xx :)

ReplyDeleteIt's a pain when you miss a deadline!! I know! But it's a beautiful card; so shabby chic!! I love that gorgeous rose. Thanks so much for playing along with CR84FN this week!
ReplyDeleteso shabby and vintage, Cathy! I love your flower, lace and pattern paper! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCathy, as a winner, I think I should be glad you missed the deadline!! (But I'm not!! I know how frustrating it is to have some inspiration in your head that your schedule just doesn't allow you to get out on paper in time :( ). But this is a fabulous card, and that sketch and layout is part of the reason why! The colors are gorgeous, also--I loved 'em this week. All your shabby details bring it all together so beautifully!! (Isn't it nice that it's so easy to put these two great challenges together!?!) Your card on the previous post is so very SWEET, also! Thanks so much for visiting me again, and for your very sweet comment!!
ReplyDeleteThis is one beautiful card Cathy! Love how you worked that ribbon into a butterfly! (or at least that's what I see :-) Vintagey colours, totally lovely. Have a great weekend, Ira
