with paper.  My DH is out referring HS LaCrosse and my DD is moving her fiance back home with his parents.  It's hard to believe that his graduation from Med School is next weekend and they are getting married in a month! :)

Hi friend!  Hope your day is going well.  The weather is beautiful here today - a small glimpse of Spring.  One thing for sure, the grass is certainly green from all the rain.  Hopefully, the old saying holds true....."April Showers bring May Flowers". :)

Good Morning and Happy Saturday!  I hope you all are enjoying your weekend thus far!  Last night my DH and I went out to the movies.  We saw "Oz - The Great and Powerful".
Although, we had heard that it wasn't very good, we both enjoyed it.  The visuals were amazing and I just love "The
Wizard of Oz".  :)

This card was created based off of this week's sketch at There She Goes.  I have never played along before, because, I didn't own any of their stamps. Last month during the release, I won some stamp sets, and this was one of them! :)  I now can say, I am a huge fan, and am following along with this month's blog hop.  Their DT is amazing and they have some of the most talented illustrators! :)

TGIF!! Are you as happy as I am that Friday has finally arrived? :)  We have no big plans for the weekend, but that's going to change......real quick!  As my daughter's wedding approaches, the weekend's are filling up!

Hello!  I wanted to squeeze one more in before I start dinner and this was a really fun challenge because I tried out a new technique that was reviewed on LIM.  This is such a great technique and I will certainly be using it again.

Have a moustache-tic birthday! - DD49, RS60 and CFC99

Happy Sunday!  The rain has finally passed on, and it's a beautiful day here today - sunny, blue and slightly on the cooler side.  While driving thru town today, I noticed all the people dragging all the damaged goods from their basements to the curb for pick-up.  Although, they had some damage, it's minimal to the people on the other side of town where their homes were 12 ft. under water and had to be rescued by boats!  It's unbelievable when we are watching the news to see the damage!  We were truly fortunate!

This card was created based off of this week's sketch at RS, DD color challenge and CFC's birthday challenge.  I can't believe that I got all three in this week! :)

No stamping on this card. It was  all digital images put together by myself.  I know....even hard for me to believe - I am the farthest thing from being "computer savvy"!

I know....it's me again!  What better way to spend an afternoon when we are experiencing winter-like weather?  Would you believe, we actually had snow flurries today?  This is after the past two days of 70 degree temperatures and torrential-like rain!  I am so over this and I crave Spring! :)

Just a note - FMS82

Happy Thursday!  We have been experiencing heavy rain here the past couple of days.  Today alone, we have had nearly 6 inches, and everything is completely flooded.  Fortunately, our home has remained dry, but the cul-de-sac where our home is situated was completely under water and we were unable to leave for work today!  The town where we live has been declared "A State of Emergency" as well as towns around us. It is a mess and more rain is on the way!

Happy Sunday!  My daughter's bridal shower was a huge success - everyone had a great time!  My sister's (4) were all there, and we haven't all been together since Christmas. When we get together all we do is laugh!  Courtney and Logan received many wonderful gifts and it was wonderful bringing the two families together! :)

Happy Saturday!  I spent my Friday running all over town tying up loose ends for my daughter's bridal shower this Sunday, and
finishing up some DIY projects that took me into the evening.  I still have more to do, so I don't know if I will get anymore cards in this weekend! :(  I only had time for one card today - my therapy for a very long day.  I'm stressing! :O

hello Friend - CTS22 and DD47

Hello friend.....it seems like it was just Thursday night, and I was looking forward to the weekend, and now here we are again - Sunday! :(  Where does the time go?

This card was created based off of this week's sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch and Dynamic Duo's color challenge - Pool Party and Cherry Cobbler.  This is my ultimate favorite color combination - please note blog design colors!  This was the perfect opportunity to use this Washi Tape from OA that I have been hoarding on the diecut tag! :)

My daughter and her fiance' arrived home safely from PA tonight.  He is starting his residency at Penn State this summer after their wedding.  They found a townhome and signed a lease - so I guess it's official - my little bird is flying the coop! :(

Happy Saturday - I hope your day is starting out great!  It looks like rain is moving in, and we will lose what little sunshine we have this morning.  I hate this rainy time of the year, our dogs just don't know how to stay out of the mud and I am constantly cleaning their paws! :)

This card was created based off of a new challenge blog - Fusion!  I had so much fun creating this card.....I felt like I should have had on a lab coat and goggles!  Make sure you check it out - it is a really fun concept that gives everyone the opportunity to play with choices they are comfortable with! :) I chose FUSION - combining the two challenges. I also entered this card at CFC - chevron and flowers! :)

TGIF - so happy Friday has finally arrived!  It was a beautiful day here in Chicago, but I don't feel Spring has arrived just yet!  My friend Tiffany took me to out for an early birthday lunch, and we spent part of the afternoon walking around town and visiting some of the gift shops.  I love spending time with her!  She's not only beautiful, but she's alot of fun and makes
me laugh! :)
