Ticket to Love - CR8FN13

Happy "Hump Day".  It's Wednesday after another history-making blizzard in Chicago and while my DH digs us out, I am sitting here creating away in my nice warm studio. The plow trucks haven't been thru our neighborhood yet, so there is no better place to be than here.  Work was cancelled for all family members and the city is pretty much immobilized.

This card was created off of this week's color challenge at CR8FN.  I love this combination of colors and have actually worked with them before.  So, I was pleasantly surprised to see this week's colors and let out a squeel of joy! :)



DP's used are from scraps of SEI from a few years ago....I love when that happens! :)  Die's, stamps, buttons and cardstock from PTI, twine from Martha Stewart, paper flower from Prima, misc. rhinestone adhesives.

    Oh, this is lovely! You made a Valentine's card without the traditional colours :-) Pretty papers and that flower in the middle is a fab centrepiece!

    Cathy I hope you can stay warm and that youre safe from the snow and all íts inconveniences /problems. And if you're not able to go to work due to the weather you can always grab an extra hour for some crafting :). And I know already that your next project will be just as gorgeous as this one. I love this Valentine card; gorgeous details and the final result just blew me away...
