A New Little Someone - TSTR #23

It's Monday, and the only thing good I can find about Monday is.........a whole new challenge from The Shabby Tea Room. This week's challenge, we were given a beautiful inspirational photo, and asked to design a card/project incorporating roses into our creation. Our host for this week is Squigglefly , who has one of the largest selections of digital images I have ever seen and you too, have the opportunity to win some of their beautiful images! :) We as DT members were given the wonderful opportunity of choosing an image (thank you Squigglefly) for this week's challenge, I chose "Bouncing Buggy". :)

I had alot of fun adding embellishments to my sweet little image. Lots of little goodies added here, so be sure to look closely. It was really hard to photograph this card so that all the detail could be seen. I hope you like it! :)

Papers used are from Graphic45, chipboard heart from Maya Road, glitter from Martha Stewart, buttons, twine and rubberstamped sentiment from Papertrey Ink, paper roses from Prima, misc. felt, paper doily, rhinestone adhesives, crocheted trim and shabby seam binding ribbon.

Looking for more inspiration.....please take a peek at all the other "Shabby Girls" designs for this week!

  3. Cathy I've always loved your cards and this is why. They are so pretty, balanced and soft! I think my favorite is the scalloped circle behind the buggy. The paper is gorgeous and it just makes that little buggy stand out perfectly!

  4. Your card is just beautiful, Cathy! I love the scalloped die cut focal piece with that adorable buggy on it. You have added so much detail to the buggy, it just looks amazing, and I love the sentiment banner overlaying it. the layered trims are gorgeous, as is your seam binding bow. Fabulous job this week!
