4th of July - PDCC87

Wow....can you believe the 4th of July is almost here already?  Maybe it's just me, but I don't even feel like summer has really arrived yet.  The weather certainly hasn't cooperated that's for sure.  It almost feels like Spring with an occasional blast of heat.  Oh well, hopefully it will warm up long enough so that we can actually swim in the pool without freezing! :)

This card was created for this week's challenge at PDCC.  I don't know where these girl's manage to come up with these beautiful photo's for inspiration - just hope they keep on coming! :)

DP's from K&Co., Echo Park and October Afternoon, cardstock, twine, tag die and sentiment from PTI, metal memo pin from Tim Holtz, chipboard star from Melody Ross, misc. paper doily, seam binding ribbon and rhinestone adhesive.

Once again, thank you for stopping by and enjoy your day - tomorrow's Monday! Cathy xx :)

  3. Your card is beautiful! Love all the patriotic patterns and colors. Cute vintage image. You should be getting warmer air by the weekend. I have friends in and around Chicago and heard about the storms that hit there. Hope your 4th is lovely!
