birthday wishes - PDCC133

Happy Saturday, and we here in the US are into a long holiday weekend that is much deserved! :)

I had sometime this afternoon to play along with PDCC and it
was fun - it's been too long!  Originally, I thought of going with
a nautical theme, but decided against it when I came upon these DP's from Simple Stories and went with Country Chic.

TGIF and thank God for long weekends!  It's going to be a hot one here in Chicago this weekend.  My nephew's HS Graduation is this weekend so, I thought I would kill two birds with one stone! :)

This card was created based off of this month's inspirational photo at PTI and this week's challenge at CAS-usal Friday's - create a masculine card.

You're Sweet as Can Be - SSSC159

Well, the week's half over - yippee!!  I can hardly wait for the long weekend, and it's suppose to be a hot one here in Chicago.  :) We have a graduation party on Sunday for my nephew, but they have a pool, and it never fails you always get wet there even if you have no plans to swim!!

I finally had some extra time to play along this week at SSSC.  I always take a peek and admire Karen's darling creations each week, so I thought I would give
it a whirl.

Happy Saturday!  I hope you had a great day today and found some time for yourself.  It rained quite a bit here today, so I found myself napping - old age setting in! :)

This card was created based off of this week's sketch at Card Patterns - another wonder sketch to work with and Moxie Fab's - Doilies and Lace Challenge.  I can't get enough of doilies, but I chose to use my doily as an accent rather than a focal piece.

Happy Sunday!  Yes.....the weather is horrific here (dark, thunder, lightening and rain) and once again I have a great excuse to play with paper! :)
