Live love Laugh dream - The Ribbon Reel #20

Happy Saturday!  This morning I awoke to just a dusting of snow, beautiful blue skies and sunshine.  I think the day has inspired me.  The snow will be gone by Wednesday with the 50 degree temperatures they are predicting.  This has been one of the craziest winters I have ever experienced here in Chicago, but I am not complaining! :)

This card was created for this week's challenge at The Ribbon Reel.  We were asked to make a card with a New Year's Resolution.  My resolution is to live, love, laugh and dream to the fullest.  I think all of the above are sometimes taken for granted - and we forget about the simple things in life.  So here's to 2012!! :)

DP's, vintage button care and embellishment from OA, paper flower from Prima, cardstock, buttons, twine, scallop diecut and stamps from PTI, decorative pin from Maya Road and misc. seam binding ribbon.

Be My Valentine - JUGS 120

I just love creating cards for Valentine's Day.  I can't get enough red, pink, and white!   Not to mention.....hearts, flowers and cherubs!! :)

Where does the time go.......another weekend done and over with. :(  Back to work tomorrow, and my goal was to create a card based off of
this week's sketch at Card Patterns.  It's not often
that I create a circle card so this certainly was a

challenge for me.

First Love - FTTC152

Just a little somethin'-somethin' for the challenge over at FTTC.  The lovely and talented Heather is hostess this week and has challenged us to make something other than a card. 

This shabby creation was used using DP, flower and pearl embellishment from Prima, angel embellishment, seam binding ribbon, vintage musical score image, paper heart doily, buttons from PTI, vintage trim and a sprinkle of glitter.

Happy Valentine's Day - MME31

TGIF.......big snowstorm here in Chicago today.  There is no better place to be than in my studio creating during a snowstorm! :)

This card was created based off of the sketch provided at MME.  I am a huge fan of MME - so many gorgeous papers and embellishments!  I have to admit......I am a hoarder and I have tons of MME products that I use all the time! The coordinate so nicely! :)

MME papers used are from Love Me, Lost & Found/Union Square and Madison Avenue.  Chipboard heart from Melissa Frances, decorative pin from Maya Road, paper doily altered using GlimmerMist, paper flower from Prima, stamped sentiment from PTI, misc. seam binding ribbon, crocheted trim, ric rac and metal embellishment.
