Sweet Baby - Heart Songs Designs and OCL64

Happy Monday,  and welcome to my second week as Guest Designer with Heart Songs Designs.  I am also entering this card in this week's challenge at Our Craft Lounge - challenge: paper piecing.  How perfect is that? :)

This week, I chose this sweet little image - "Baby buggy".  I decided to paper piece this image as opposed to coloring it in with Copics.  With that being said....all the wooden details were cut with my Exacto knife and pieced together with the other pieces that were handcut. 

DP's from Creative Imaginations, paper flower from Prima, chipboard heart from Maya Road, stamped sentiment from PTI, misc. seam binding ribbon, decorative pins and paper doily.

Happy Mother's Day to all who are Mom's!  I hope you all have a wonderful day planned with your families.  My DH will be returning later from the Kentucky Derby at about which time my kid's should be returning home from their weekend!  As will the laundry and questions about "what's to eat?"  Oh, the joys of being a Mom, but would we have it any other way? :)

This card was created based off of this week's challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges - "April Shower's bring May Flowers - let's see flowers, DYSU - the color purple and PaperPlay - "Show us your Style".  It's hard to believe that we are in the month of May here in Chicago - it never seems to stop raining! :(

DP's used are from Prima as well as the flower, chipboard frame from Maya Road, resin egg and bird from K&Co., stamped sentiment from PTI, clock hands from Tim Holtz, misc. paper doily, rhinestone adhesives and corrugated cardboard.

Happy Saturday!  I hope you are able to fit in some time to create - it's good for the soul! :)

This card was created based off of this week's sketch at Card Patterns.  This is such a wonderful sketch with so many possibilities.  I know, I will be using this again! :)

You Did It! - PDCC80 and CFC1

I decided to stick with my theme of Clean & Simple tonight,  and create this card for The Play Date Cafe, and for a second entry in Cas-ual Fridays.

I had alot of fun with this one!  I Googled maps for Orange County, CA and printed it off on cardstock from PTI.  It personalizes it a bit especially if you have a "college-bound" student or someone headed in a specific direction. :)

Cardstock, frame, sentiment and VW stamp from PTI, Mandarin Baker's Twine from the Twinery, and misc. button.

dreams - CFC1 and FLT139

TGIF - finally the weekend has arrived.  My DH is in Kentucky with his buddies for the Derby, and I am left behind for a weekend of scrappin' - awww poor me - NOT!  It gives me time to create and play along with some fun challenges! :)

This card was created based off of CAS-ual Fridays Challenge - a super new challenge site filled with a talented DT challenging us all to create "Clean and Simple".  Now, this is a challenge for me.  I couldn't help looking at this card and thinking it needed something else, but sitting on my hands, I left it CAS. :)  I also based my design off of this week's sketch at Clean and Simple.

Happy Wednesday! We're halfway to the weekend folks! :)
I had some time this evening to play along with one of my favorite challenges,  Mona's CR84FN.  Aren't these colors beautiful?  That's one of my favorite reasons for playing along - Mona challenges us to create with colors that most of us haven't even thought of using.  Thank you Mona! :)

How are you - Heartsongs Designs

Good morning and happy Monday to you!  Today, I have something special to share with you.  I was invited by Leah owner of Heartsongs Design Shop to be part of this month's design team!  I couldn't say no after browsing thru all of Leah's wonderful digital designs - thank you Leah! :)
